'Club as a Shelter' by Oliver Torr is a sonic sequel of the eponymous exhibition organised by Prague City Gallery which presented works exploring contemporary club culture and speculated on its potentialities.
The piece draws from the various sounds and music utilized in the exhibition, as well as field recordings, which the artist rearranged, flipped and cut up into a collage reminiscing the atmosphere of the display.
The tape release is accompanied by texts contributed by music journalist Karel Veselý and art curator František Fekete.
